Paloma Sorribes

Paloma was born in Valencia in 1978. Although she studied Biology and Pastry, and spent more than a decade among cables and screens, one day she decided to bet on what really gave her life: illustration.

Since she was little she has had a special connection with the earth — literally. Her first drawing was made with her fingers in a plant pot, or on the living-room wall, depending on who you ask.

She likes green plants, hens, winter sunshine and sweet things.

She draws because it makes her happy, and because she suspects that inside every story there is a corner you can only understand through a good drawing.

She works with several magazines and newspapers in Turkey, illustrates other artists’ work, publishes the Llina Comic strip series and illustrates children’s picture books. In February 2026 she published «Haz caso a mamá», a children’s picture book with Editorial Sargantana.
