Filtirés is the project of Juber Molano, an illustrator from Badajoz. Everything comes from his hand: drawings in black ink on stark white that build a universe of characters, animals and places. A direct language, free of artifice, which he describes as “cave paintings of the present day” and which underpins the brand’s motto: everything we feel is connected.
From those drawings come hand-pulled art prints in limited, numbered editions. The craft rests on concrete decisions: recycled paper, water-based inks and hand-operated machinery. His approach is experimental, mixing tradition, activism and graphic art.
Active since 2016, Filtirés includes among its work a series devoted to Extremadura, with Badajoz’s Puerta de Palmas, the Alcazaba and the Tres Campanas rendered in that same primal line.
