Their story
My name is Marina. I am a psychologist by profession, and Animal de Lluvia is a space devoted to embroidery and illustration as an act of contemplation, reflection and expression.
This project takes shape as it develops, as something alive and changing. It is born of curiosity and of exploring embroidery as a medium beyond the ornamental, or the purely technical.

What will we do?
- We welcome autumn through the leaf of the Ginkgo Biloba, which at this time of year covers part of the ground in central Badajoz in gold
- A short introduction to the act of embroidering and to this technique
- Observing real leaves to draw the pattern from them
- Embroidering the pattern onto a scrap of fabric, or onto a garment you bring along
